A Choice of a Lifetime

Its been a long time when I last posted in this blog.  I was so occupied with my present job.  No, I am no longer in the teaching field, yet the workload is almost the same as my present job which also consumes most of my precious time. But of course, i don’t have regrets as it compensate me, though a bit lower than teacher job, in the long run I am able to make it the same with the compensation of a teacher.  Yes, it sounds good, it really is one tough decision I’d been through.

Just like teaching job, my present job also offers a good opportunity in the future.  The future is actually the reason why everyone of us seek for better job and we need to look into it that the job offers security of tenure.  This, I have seen on my present job.  No regrets and I am enjoying it at the moment.  This is why I did not have the chance to post in a regular basis.

Well,I could not divulge it for now, but will later when I get that one challenging position which offer huge opportunity for me.  You might say how I saw such opportunity?  Luckily, the work is just walking distance from my home I know what is happening around the working as well as the workforce. Yes I have a good informant who helped me get the job.

I think I want to share with you my dear readers, do not stop from dreaming.  From there you will be able to see yourself ten years from now.  This will enlighten you more on the possible opportunities along the way. Your dreams then will tech you to wait, determined and persevere whatever the challenges that arises along the way.  Your dream will make you sacrifice a bit for sake of it.

You know, online is just here waiting for as to be a part of it, and we all have the chance to make it one of the best and profitable past time. Well, unless you have the power to make you own destiny, then its your choice. Just like what I did.  I have chosen a low earning job, but it offers a good compensation after 2 years and it has the possibility on my part to even topple the compensation of a master teacher.  Yes, I am dreaming of getting almost the top position after 10 years.

So, what would you say? Any comment or clarification? It really a choice of a lifetime.

Going Abroad Through the Back Door

This is not going abroad illegally, but on legal basis. This back door I will discuss here is a legal way on how you will get your dream job abroad.   Yes, there is a legal back door way for you to migrate and work abroad.  But of course, only skilled personnel are the ones who can only use this back door. Yes, this is by availing the student visa program.

The only problem with this method is the expense that goes with it and time that will take to process all the documents needed.  The approximate time before you will have the student visa will be around 8 months to one year.  A long time for you to gamble on and there is always that fact that your application might not be approved.

There other ways for you to get a job abroad.  In fact, the demand continuous to grow and this demand had seen also by those people who wanted to offer their services as recruitment agencies.  These agencies can be of help, why not.  But you should search the authenticity of such agency first before availing their services.  You can also go directly to the embassies and inquire on how to go and work in their country.

In everything you do, make sure you are on the right and legal track.  Avoid shortcuts particularly in going abroad, choose the legal ways and not just crossing the border around back door entrances.

Highest Paying Jobs

Most of the time, students are giving aptitude test to measure the capability of the students on what particular career these student should pursue in college.  There instances where students seem to disagree of the aptitude test.  This enters a student to as the teacher for an advice of what career this student will pursue.

As teacher, we could not avoid to give these pieces of advice to our student and of course we weight situations before giving advice and opinions.  It is true that those high paying Jobs in the market today are those careers which are hard to achieve because of their academic requirements.

But of course, we could always say that medical related courses are high paying jobs yet the means in achieving the goal is hard which require time, money and effort.  Of course, this is only for those students who are in top ten and with good resource to finance the schooling.  This will be absurd for those students who don’t have such means to do so.

it is much better if we motivate the students to study so that they could be able avail such scholarship programs which then could be used to upgrade their statuses later, after college. That they will be able to have a high paying job if they will study hard today to come with high grades which will make them qualify for such course.

The “over 35,000 jobs” still appears on this blog

If you notice it, this appears on my blog and I am sure it appears also to other web pages which are targeting the same keywords.  Obviously, this is paid job posting catered the big G and I have seen this one since August of this year.

Well, this, of course vary on your location or country where you live.  The big G localizing the search engine shows they were successful of their plan of getting more and more publisher compared to the other network. This job site is an obvious example of website which have an idea or exact info about the available job over the world.  The only problem here is that not all their visitors have the capacity to apply for such job.

On the other hand, these job opportunities could be of help particularly those who just graduated from colleges and universities.  I’ve been eying for job for teachers and vacancies for teachers for quite sometime now and I have read an article too that vacancy for teachers was not that in demand anymore.

Anyways, just don’t forget to do your assignment first before applying to any of the job posted.  Take time to visit every possible links in the website to see how reliable are those jobs you want to apply.  And, most of all, don’t send a penny when applying for a job.  Anyone who is asking for payment will be subjected for further research. Use every resources like yahoo answers.  I am sure some over the internet will share their idea especially when it come to applying through the internet.

Tough Employer Interview Question

When we say “tough employer interview questions,” these are the questions you will be forced to answer.  Most of the time, this happens if there are more than two person who are assigned to conduct interviewer.  Companies called this panel – the “selection board” panel who will then screen all applicants to make sure they will be hiring the right person for the right position.

Actually, almost all of the questions the panel of the interviewers will ask you are considered tough questions because these questions are already formulated before hand and are designed to scale the skill of an applicant.  These employer interview questions are not actually hard to answer. Unless of course, if you did not ready yourself for the interview.

Tough employer interview questions usually need more than a minute for you to answer.  Depending on the idea the employer wants to see you utter, your answer will surely take sometime to narrate past experiences.  You need to be very aware on this part.  You need not to mention something which will give the employer a hint about your bad experiences.  An example of this scenario is when you decided to resign because of misunderstanding between you and your immediate superior.

The question “how do you rate yourself?” is one tough employer interview question which will trigger something for you to mention all those past experiences.  And, while speaking out, you might say something that the employer or the panel will have a hint that you are not worth it.

Jobs for Your Students

As a teacher, we come to encounter such problem of our student.  They are vocal when it come to their problem particularly in terms of their financial needs.  Whether you like or not, you need your best advice to at least pacify that depressed felling of the student. And of course, give possible solutions you think is the most suited for their specific needs.

When it comes to the financial problems of your student, you can actually suggest them to have a part time job.  This job could be performed after classes or during weekends.  Today, there are business which are especially hiring for student to be one of their manpower.

The salary for this jobs will not be higher than the minimum wage, but it will surely bridge the gap of the finacial needs your student is into.  This business establishments are actually aware of these things and so they prefer to hire students for additional manpower.

An example job you student can acquire is a baggage boy/girl where he or she will be incharge of packing up those groceries a customer bought.  Yes, groceries are actually hiring student for such job and they can work after classes or during weekends.

Application Letter for Teachers

After posting such information about teachers, their job, and information on how and where they should apply, I decided to write an application letter for teachers.  Though this application letter comes in general view, you can always replace the information to suit you needs.

Your application letter is one of the documents which will trigger you to be included by the employer/school to be one of their applicants.  Your application letter is also a sales letter because you actually are selling yourself to your prospect employer/school/universities.

And, since you are a teacher, you should make your application letter perfect to stimulate the reader.  However, you should not make it overwhelming because the person who will read it is also a teacher and very much aware of the school, the students and activities involve in the school.

Application Letter for Teachers format should goes like this:

To:  Name of the Principal or the President of the school/university (if there’s any)  The name of the receiver of your application letter should be written in capital letters.  You should also write his or her position below the name.  The “position” should be leveled on the first letter of the name and not under the “To:” .  It is no longer need to write a “Subject:” of your application letter.

Sir: (or Madam:  )  You should know the gender to whom your application letter will be sent.  I am sure this info could be easily researched, but you can always write “Sir/Madam:” if you are not sure.

Depending on what introduction you feel comfortable to start with, but I would like to suggest you start from “I am”.  and it goes like this:

I am (your complete name), (don’t forget the comma) a graduate of Bachelor in Secondary Education major in (your major and minor).  If you are already an expert or seasoned teacher you should immediately write:  I have been teaching for a couple of years now in ( or you can mention the exact number of years you have been teaching) the school/ university with its present address at ( name of the school you taught) with its present address at (the address of the school).

That should be your introductory paragraph to be followed by the information how or where you’ve got the information that their school is in need of additional teachers.  Do not take this for granted because most of the time, schools, colleges and universities are using advertisement to get the perfect applicant for their additional faculty.  Since we usually search the job market for teachers over the internet, I would like to compose it giving emphasis that you found the advertisement through the internet.  And it goes like this:

I have been browsing the internet for job for teachers and come up with the website: (put the link or the url of the website here).  While browsing the posted teachers job over this website, I came across with the post stating you are in need of additional faculty to handle English related subjects (specify the subject here if there’s any).  Based on my experiences in the teaching field and my earned knowledge, I am confident to tell you, I am fit for the position, and so, I decided to apply.

I think that paragraph has more than enough information about their advertisement.  I would like to emphasize that you can make this part an introductory paragraph too.

I have attached my credentials and other pertinent documents for your reference and further evaluation.  Should you feel I am qualified for the position, I can be contacted at this number and email address.  It will be my honor to be one of your faculty.

Thank you very much.

Truly yours, (or Sincerely yours,)

You name in capital letters and your signature over it.

Again, this is only a sample application letter for teachers.  You can always modify it to suit exactly what you need.  Teachers, happy job hunting.

Teachers are Molders of Society

When the learner started to attend schooling, this is also the time he/she learn things about his/her self and the environment he/she is into.  From this point, the learner learns to adopt and determine the relationships of things and this will manifest at home by asking question to their parents.  This is often times happening because the students, at his young age, learned something in the school and the parents will be the first person he or she will ask about it.

Though the teacher will be explaining all the possible reasons for individual learners to adopt what is being taught inside the classroom, there is always that thing where a learner find it hard to digest what is being fed.  I would like to emphasize the word “feed” here because early learning stage of learning, young learners are taught through spoon feeding.

Though this is not being done throughout the day, they need to be fed for instructions and to be digest later by giving dynamic exercises which will motivate and stimulate them to react according to what the teacher wants his/her students to react.  This is actually one of the ways to determine if a particular learner is getting what is being discussed. From these examples and visual aids being presented to these young learners, they come up to determine things around them and later build their own point of views.

Every teacher is aware of the learning process in relation to the learning readiness of the learner.  They are all aware of the step by step instructions to make these young learners develop the personality later.  Thus, teachers are the molders of society.
