Cover Letter and Résumé

Their had been lots of disputes about cover letter and résumé and the conclusion still falls on whether the applicant will be hired or not.  Over the disputes I’ve read in this virtual community had not given emphasis on the last part of the hiring process – the interview section.

Whatever white collar job you are applying, the cover letter and the résumé could not be denied its function as springboard for you to be shortlisted.  On the dispute, there are hiring members and HR personnel who shared their own views about the cover letter.

Traditional cover letter and spam cover letters are also mentioned, but to some agreed it is not only to show how you communicate with the Manager or the HR in-charge of hiring additional employee, but also a sum total of what you could do on the benefit of the business.  You need to clearly emphasize abilities that you are one of the best among the applicants.

But whether you have a cover letter or you only submit a resume, it is all depends on the employment.  In fact, there are business which does not even read the cover letter and go immediately to see you qualification listed in the resume.  Of course, this is in relation to what type of job you are applying.

Obviously, teachers in particular should make a cover letter in the their application.  Schools, colleges and universities view the cover letter as one way on how you make communications and how you convey your thought on such matters.  A cover letter is required for teachers.  And most often than not, the cover letter sounds like sales pitch selling yourself to prospect institution.

Cover letter for teachers is far more elaborative in the sense, that your capacity as a teacher should be clearly indicated in the cover letter.  Surely, the HR in-charge will read those cover letters and select some for further evaluation.  This includes your resume too.

From the cover letter alone, teacher applicants are selected.  This means that through these cover letter applicants are filtered.  Even the simplest error in spelling and grammar are being given emphasis here.  This why teachers should make sure, all texts are in its proper places.

Now, to make a perfect cover letter for teachers, you need to share it with your friends, family or any person which you think could give a constructive criticism on your resume and cover letter.

Thailand is one good distination for teachers

Thailand is one good destination for teachers looking for a job.  Teaching English in this country is now being considered one of the most important thing being considered.  Obviously because this is not an English speaking country and only after sometime more and more students including adults are now very much interested to learn the Language.

In fact, a foreigner in this country, as long as he or she can vividly speak English has the chance to grab a job opportunity for teachers.  This is how Thailand shows interest in learning English Language.  Of course, it will be of great advantage if if you are a teacher and specializes in English.

I have a friend who just went their to seek a job for teachers.  Yes, he is a teacher.  It does not took him time to grab a job as a teacher in the elementary level.  He is asking me to go their too and I might, I just need to fix things first before leaving my country.

The only problem for teacher looking for a job in Thailand is that you need exit the border after every 15 days until, you’ll have a job and be given authorization to be given by the employer school.  And on every exit, you need to pay an amount, I decide not to mention the amount as it might change over time.

Tough Jobs

I just read from yahoo news about tough jobs.  These jobs are obviously not internet related jobs because internet related jobs today can be outsourced all over the worldwide web and for sure, there will be lots of applicants if you just post that you are looking for someone to work for you or to your company about jobs which could be done through the internet. I just can’t locate the yahoo source again to link in this blog for you to view it too.

Anyways these jobs are those in line with teaching, technical (eg. mechanic, welding, technicians and the likes), medical related jobs and other employee monitoring jobs (supervisory and managerial).  These jobs should meet the clients face to face.  The problem is that it will take you sometime before you are able to do these jobs.

But of course, if have still time for another schooling, who knows, this will be your lucky day.  After all, education is life and we need to educate ourselves as we leave our life in this challenging world.  Yes, it is just another challenge for you to undertake.  You can still do your online jobs while doing the schooling anyway.  All you need to do is to budget your time in everything you do.

Job opportunities are too many and the more skills you will learn will give you an edge over the job market.  Jobs usually are chosen base on the salary and the position, but today, as it seems life is getting harder and harder everyday, the salary should not be opposed with the position.

This is just my opinion, I am sure you have other views on how to get a job which provides impressive salary. Why not browse the job market to see jobs related to your skills.

Tough Employer Interview Question

When we say “tough employer interview questions,” these are the questions you will be forced to answer.  Most of the time, this happens if there are more than two person who are assigned to conduct interviewer.  Companies called this panel – the “selection board” panel who will then screen all applicants to make sure they will be hiring the right person for the right position.

Actually, almost all of the questions the panel of the interviewers will ask you are considered tough questions because these questions are already formulated before hand and are designed to scale the skill of an applicant.  These employer interview questions are not actually hard to answer. Unless of course, if you did not ready yourself for the interview.

Tough employer interview questions usually need more than a minute for you to answer.  Depending on the idea the employer wants to see you utter, your answer will surely take sometime to narrate past experiences.  You need to be very aware on this part.  You need not to mention something which will give the employer a hint about your bad experiences.  An example of this scenario is when you decided to resign because of misunderstanding between you and your immediate superior.

The question “how do you rate yourself?” is one tough employer interview question which will trigger something for you to mention all those past experiences.  And, while speaking out, you might say something that the employer or the panel will have a hint that you are not worth it.
