We don’t want our foreign students to think we do not know something about them, their feelings, their views and  most especially about their lives.  Reading further information on a country you are planning to grab opportunities will help in any case to learn about these things.  Check out job opportunities for teachers on non-native English speaking countries for more info.

Highest Paying Jobs

Most of the time, students are giving aptitude test to measure the capability of the students on what particular career these student should pursue in college.  There instances where students seem to disagree of the aptitude test.  This enters a student to as the teacher for an advice of what career this student will pursue.

As teacher, we could not avoid to give these pieces of advice to our student and of course we weight situations before giving advice and opinions.  It is true that those high paying Jobs in the market today are those careers which are hard to achieve because of their academic requirements.

But of course, we could always say that medical related courses are high paying jobs yet the means in achieving the goal is hard which require time, money and effort.  Of course, this is only for those students who are in top ten and with good resource to finance the schooling.  This will be absurd for those students who don’t have such means to do so.

it is much better if we motivate the students to study so that they could be able avail such scholarship programs which then could be used to upgrade their statuses later, after college. That they will be able to have a high paying job if they will study hard today to come with high grades which will make them qualify for such course.

What do you think?  Well, you post your views in the comment box so we can talk about it.

Scarce Job in 2010

There are lots of jobs being posted in the market today, yet the number of job is not sufficient to accommodate the number of applicants for a certain job.  Though job for teachers is still on the top 10 of the most promising job this 2010, teachers continue to multiply over the years which in turn made job for teachers to be scarce and this also includes other fields.

This is why you really need to prepare when you reach the interview part.  The panel is closely looking and digesting every word you utter.  Avoid pitfalls by just only answering what is being asked.  As the maxim goes, “less talk, less mistake.”

Just say “none” when the interviewer ask you if you have question to raise.  Because when you utter a question, you are no longer being interviewed.  Instead, you are being interrogated which later will cause you the interview panel to loss interest in you.  The obvious result is that you are no longer included if the list of finalist.  It is better that you wait you for the interviewer to ask you again another question.

It is also advisable not to show any sign of weakness during the interview.  But this does not mean you need to uplift some of your weaknesses.  being honest is still the best because the interview(s) had seen all behaviors of interviewee and they can easily spot if the candidate is lying or not.

The key is to be prepared. Formulate possible questions the interviewer may ask or you can search the internet for question related to the job you are applying.

New Year: New Job Market

“Well-paid, safe and fun working place” is just a quotation every employment advertising website to catch the attention of every visitors going into the site.  The striking and stimulating the adverts may have, the better the chance a visitor will visit the page.

Today, as the new year starts, thousands of millions of job opportunities for ever fields will again be added the previous million job opportunities worldwide being posted through the internet.  Though this means a bigger opportunity for all of those job seekers online, we could not the deny the risk that goes along with these job advertisements.

I was struck with an advertisement seeking teachers to join their quest in providing job opportunities for teachers.  That the advertisement is calling every teachers seeking for a new job to sign up and post their CVs.  This opportunity brags the job vacancy in Vietnam.  Obviously, Vietnam is one good country where every one could enjoy working especially for teachers not only because of the nature’s breeze but the country itself offers a great history every foreigner should know.

The “over 35,000 jobs” still appears on this blog

If you notice it, this appears on my blog and I am sure it appears also to other web pages which are targeting the same keywords.  Obviously, this is paid job posting catered the big G and I have seen this one since August of this year.

Well, this, of course vary on your location or country where you live.  The big G localizing the search engine shows they were successful of their plan of getting more and more publisher compared to the other network. This job site is an obvious example of website which have an idea or exact info about the available job over the world.  The only problem here is that not all their visitors have the capacity to apply for such job.

On the other hand, these job opportunities could be of help particularly those who just graduated from colleges and universities.  I’ve been eying for job for teachers and vacancies for teachers for quite sometime now and I have read an article too that vacancy for teachers was not that in demand anymore.

Anyways, just don’t forget to do your assignment first before applying to any of the job posted.  Take time to visit every possible links in the website to see how reliable are those jobs you want to apply.  And, most of all, don’t send a penny when applying for a job.  Anyone who is asking for payment will be subjected for further research. Use every resources like yahoo answers.  I am sure some over the internet will share their idea especially when it come to applying through the internet.

Interview Hiring System

Today where competition is very tough, employers have generated a system to select the best applicant to be added in the workforce.  This hiring system may be complicated to some but it is not.  Of course, the system starts from selecting the best qualified applicant base on the capabilities stated in the resume and application letter / cover letter in consonance on the job to be filled up.

The second step will be the interview section where the employer could detect whether such applicant is capable to handle the job requirements.  This means, you cover letter and resume should be properly tailored to be able to reach the interview part.  Because during the interview, depending on how you deliver your answers to their interview question, you will have the chance to be selected for another elimination round if not yet as good as hired.

Of course you are aware on the nature of the job you are applying, but there are times there’s really that exact person’s career suited for the job.  Unless you are not that person, you really need some time to make adjustments on the things to be done on your cover letter and resume.

The interview hiring system is just a pattern being done by the employers and you can always dominate and grab the job even if you have only minimal knowledge on the job you are applying.  You can grab the job by just answering those interview questions properly.  I have written more tips on how to answer interview questions in the previous posts.  Check them out for further clarifications on this matter.

Oppotunities Outside Teaching

Though the opportunities for job for teachers continue to appear through the internet, there are other opportunities waiting for you.  of course, you really need to sacrifice something particularly your line of interest in the teaching field.  Today, being practical is one of the best option to survive.

A job different from teachers job but with higher compensation is not bad at all to change line.  After all, a teacher will always be a teacher, but the present situation requires us to shift for something which can give us better growth - professional growth outside teaching field.

I did apply for a new job and currently i am having a training.  The opportunity of my new found off line job is great.  My training will be done few days from now and mind you, there’s already an item for my position not only to become a regular employee, but also there is that vacant position exactly for my capabilities as teacher.

The compensation is promising too.  In fact, I can actually leave my online job.  But I wont leave online. My online job will now serve as another extra income for me.

You too, can find such job opportunity outside the teaching job.  Just keep on searching and don’t hesitate to apply if you will see one fitted for your abilities.

Cover Letter and Résumé

Their had been lots of disputes about cover letter and résumé and the conclusion still falls on whether the applicant will be hired or not.  Over the disputes I’ve read in this virtual community had not given emphasis on the last part of the hiring process - the interview section.

Whatever white collar job you are applying, the cover letter and the résumé could not be denied its function as springboard for you to be shortlisted.  On the dispute, there are hiring members and HR personnel who shared their own views about the cover letter.

Traditional cover letter and spam cover letters are also mentioned, but to some agreed it is not only to show how you communicate with the Manager or the HR in-charge of hiring additional employee, but also a sum total of what you could do on the benefit of the business.  You need to clearly emphasize abilities that you are one of the best among the applicants.

But whether you have a cover letter or you only submit a resume, it is all depends on the employment.  In fact, there are business which does not even read the cover letter and go immediately to see you qualification listed in the resume.  Of course, this is in relation to what type of job you are applying.

Obviously, teachers in particular should make a cover letter in the their application.  Schools, colleges and universities view the cover letter as one way on how you make communications and how you convey your thought on such matters.  A cover letter is required for teachers.  And most often than not, the cover letter sounds like sales pitch selling yourself to prospect institution.

Cover letter for teachers is far more elaborative in the sense, that your capacity as a teacher should be clearly indicated in the cover letter.  Surely, the HR in-charge will read those cover letters and select some for further evaluation.  This includes your resume too.

From the cover letter alone, teacher applicants are selected.  This means that through these cover letter applicants are filtered.  Even the simplest error in spelling and grammar are being given emphasis here.  This why teachers should make sure, all texts are in its proper places.

Now, to make a perfect cover letter for teachers, you need to share it with your friends, family or any person which you think could give a constructive criticism on your resume and cover letter.
